DWG Drawings
The client asked for extracted survey drawings of the BIM/REVIT model. Different types of drawings were produced as a result of the measured building survey:
- Floor Plans
- Roof Plan
- Elevation Plans
- Cross-Sections
- Surrounding Elevation Plans
- Site Plan
All survey plans were aligned to the Ordnance Survey grid and all drawings were plotted to a level of detail and accuracy consistent with the client’s requirements.
All drawings were delivered digitally in 2D AutoCAD DWG format along with Adobe PDF
versions.
BIM / REVIT MODEL
A BIM/REVIT Model was required and was undertaken in Revit 2020.
Modeling of Speedwell House was undertaken to LOD3 ‘Standard’ level of detail.
Oxford measured survey team can deliver 3D models in different software based on client’s requirements. We deliver 3D models Revit, CAD and Sketchup.
Underground Services and Utilities Survey
The survey of Speedwell House in Oxford allowed for the identification of all drainage and manhole covers. MEP was included at LOD3 to include pipes, services, and fixtures.
Being experienced in underground surveys and using different methods and equipment such as GPR and CCTV, our team is able to identify invisible services based below ground.
Duration of the project
The whole project took our survey team 5 days on-site and we allowed 28 working days for delivery of 3D model and 8 working days for DWG drawings.
